Notes:
- Find a stronger light to use to create more contrasting light settings
- Use another white sheet of paper against the wall
- Take pictures from more interesting angles eg. through doors and windows

The effects of lighting were much more evident with the balsa wood models as they didn't have the transparent property that paper has to allow any light through.

The shadows are much more sharp, harsh and visible within these photographs, which produces a much stronger vision of how light would actually cast.

3D Shapes
only managed to get a 0.4mm shell...

Difficulties with modelling:
- capital A, V and H were all too sharp and harsh to get any nice curves
- had to play around with rotating the letters to get more interesting shapes
- did a lower case A to get smooth surfaces but the little tail restricts the shell width so will have to modify that to enable a wider shell

Another trial :

I tried to build a new model using all capital letters and it ended up creating some nice curves which I was quite happy with. I wanted to tilt the V a bit more but as the A and V were both quite thin which overlapped, it would not allow me to create a shell.
